Digital Marketing Intern

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Intern who has an impeccable attention to detail, is well organized, and can manage several projects at once. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working on several projects at the same time. You are a team player, and can work independently with minimal supervision.

The Digital Marketing Intern reports to the Customer Acquisition Manager. You would play a key role in the marketing department by managing both day-to-day and long-term projects, as well as analyzing results of campaigns, database targeting, tradeshow preparation, market research, managing content and social media, and working with outside vendors to organize our marketing initiatives across five websites. You would also work directly with our Vice President and CEO on special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage several projects at once in a sophisticated and timely manner.
  • Willing to take on a variety of projects in order to ensure that all of the marketing team’s goals are achieved.
  • Interest in analytics and measuring how content and campaigns are performing.
  • Ability to provide support to internal team members and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to take initiative on projects and manage them to completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Working towards a four-year degree, preferably in Advertising, Communications, or Business (Marketing and/or Analytics)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with building and creating digital campaigns across a variety of software platforms (Google Ads, Affiliate Marketing, Social Media, Bronto, Magento).
  • Develop and execute innovative strategic marketing communications campaigns that promote products and solutions to targeted audiences in the outdoors and sporting goods marketplace.
  • Strong focus in the development of new messaging and translating those messages into content marketing campaigns through channels such as sales teams, digital marketing programs, events, advertising, and public relations activities. These tactics should aid in the development of our brand visibility while managing budgetary requirements.
  • Play a major role in managing the logistics of an annual conference.
  • Assist our Vice President & CEO with projects as needed.

Computer Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Magento, Bronto, Google Analytics, Buffer, CoSchedule, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook is a plus.
  • Knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems preferred.

Customer Retention Manager

The Customer Retention Manager is responsible for driving customer lifetime value; this involves identifying key means to build relationships with existing customers and encouraging / driving repeat purchases. Additional responsibilities include: Database and marketing funnel development, all aspects of email marketing for 5 brands, customer behavior profiling, development of other tools to encourage repeat purchasing, and customer relationship management (CRM). This position will also involve social media, affiliate management, and content marketing activity in coordination with other managers.
Likely, you have an entrepreneurial mindset, significant experience (3+ years) in an online business-to-consumer transaction environment, and know-how across multiple digital channels. Please keep reading if this is you.

Deliverables:

  • Email Marketing : Manage email campaigns including overall strategy, messaging, email acquisition, win back programs and solutions to increase sales generated from emails.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, communications, graphic design, or marketing preferred
  • 2+ years marketing experience across multiple facets of marketing with vast majority of experience in digital marketing for consumer facing businesses with progressively increasing responsibilities and revenue goals
  • Strong background in email marketing
  • Deep understanding of managing retention strategies
  • Strong analytical skills / problem solving skills with data driven approach to customer retention
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; persuasive in presenting complex data and concepts to groups
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills with the ability to consistently demonstrate a positive and collaborative approach; comfortable working with various functional groups across the organization

eCommerce Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Handling the day to day tasks of online selling platforms such as: Amazon, eBay, Jet, etc.

Customer Service Representative

We are a rapidly growing eCommerce retailer looking for a detail-oriented team player who is a strong communicator, calm, organized, and decisive. We have openings for full-time, part-time and seasonal customer service. You must be able to multi-task in a high volume customer service environment. Graphic Design Intern

We seek someone with exceptional graphic design skills and a passion for the current trends in web design and development to join our eCommerce team.

Our internship will give you the opportunity to:

  • Gain practical, hands-on experience in the sporting goods and outdoor gear industry
  • Work within our Design Department to help brainstorm, conceptualize and create designs that will be produced online and in print
  • Develop engaging designs and layouts in a variety of mediums including web graphics and banners, online advertisements, flyers, posters, brochures, infographics and other marketing materials as needed
  • The designer will be responsible for implementing and managing brand standards within their creative designs based off of the brand’s guidelines
  • Work with cross-functional teams to review content marketing, merchandising strategy, and social media marketing

Email Marketing Specialist

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for development of a rich strategy and execution of email campaigns and customer retention programs for the Concourse Sports portfolio of brands. This position will work closely with the Website Director and Brand Managers as well as cross functional partners within marketing, merchandising and IT in the planning and implementation of our leading-edge marketing email program.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with developing a highly targeted email marketing strategy focused on personalization, branding, merchandising and cross channel promotions. The position requires technical expertise in digital marketing, combined with a thorough knowledge of best practices as it relates to email marketing programs.

  • Lead the strategy to improve email performance on various KPIs
  • Manage projects related to all email campaigns and executes day-to-day operational tasks to support daily email schedule
  • Generate reports that clearly explain how the entire email program is performing
  • Manage deliverability of email through proper segmentation
  • Work with Marketing department to strategize and develop email calendar and send time to optimize campaign performance
  • Utilize Concourse Sport’s Email Service Provider's marketing platform (Bronto) to build, test, and deploy email campaigns.
  • Manage A/B testing to increase performance in subject line, creative, copy and other variances
  • Optimize email for desktop and mobile platforms;
  • Manage and optimize triggered lifecycle campaigns
  • Test and QA email campaigns to ensure quality
  • Monitor deliverability and resolve issues
  • Maintains detailed reports weekly, monthly quarterly, annually; compiling email kpi's and lessons learned per email.
